Product Overview
The 2GIG STZ-1 is a Z-Wave Plus 700-series smart thermostat that runs on batteries — which is the reason it belongs in an installer's bag. Older HVAC systems often have no C-wire, and running one means opening walls; a battery-powered thermostat turns a half-day job into a fifteen-minute swap. It joins the panel like any other Z-Wave device for scheduling and remote control.
