Product Overview
The KD-AOCH98P is a 98 ft (30 m) active optical HDMI cable with a plenum-rated jacket. It is the version to specify when a long run crosses a return-air ceiling void — building codes require plenum-rated cable there, and using a standard jacket is the kind of thing that fails inspection after the ceiling has already gone back up.
Key Features
- Plenum-rated jacket for code-compliant runs through return-air spaces
- 98 ft (30 m) with full 4K 18Gbps bandwidth
- Avoids inspection failures on runs above suspended ceilings
- Fiber core with copper power — no separate extender or PSU needed
- Immune to electromagnetic interference on long runs
- Directional — source and display ends are marked
