Product Overview
The KD-XUSB2 extends USB 2.0 over Cat5e or Cat6. USB's native cable limit is about 5 m, which is why a ceiling-mounted conference camera or a wall-mounted touch panel so often ends up needing one of these — the video side of the room reaches easily, and it is the USB that falls short.
Key Features
- Extends USB 2.0 far beyond the native 5 m cable limit
- Runs over standard Cat5e or Cat6 cable
- Solves the reach problem for ceiling cameras and wall touch panels
- Transmitter and receiver supplied as a set
- Compact housings for concealed mounting
