DS18 PRO-SM8.2

8” Sealed-Back Slim Mid-Range Loudspeaker 2Ω

DS18’s PRO-SM8.2 is a sealed-back 8” mid-range engineered specifically for motorcycles and tight-fit installs where consistent pressure and output are necessary.

Engineered for Extreme Output
Rated at 250W RMS and 500W MAX at a tight 2-ohm load, the PRO-SM8.2 extracts every ounce of power from your amplifier. Its ultra-efficient 97dB sensitivity ensures you can hear your music LOUD and clear at highway speeds.

Built for Motorcycles and Harsh Environments
The PRO-SM8.2 features a reinforced water-resistant paper cone and a redesigned steel basket engineered to resist vibration at high volume. This latest version of the PRO-SM8.2 features an updated gasket design around the rim. With only a 2.5” mounting depth, it fits effortlessly in tight motorcycle applications where traditional drivers don’t stand a chance.

Precision-Focused Performance
Covering a 65Hz–12kHz frequency range with an 8mm Xmax, the PRO-SM8.2 projects smooth, powerful mid-range tones that cut through all noise. The sealed-back structure means you get controlled mid-range: even in small pods where open-back speakers usually fall short.

If you want mids that stay strong no matter how fast you go, the PRO-SM8.2 is the upgrade your motorcycle deserves.
